Leo Villareal, the American artist known for creating illuminated displays using LED lights and programming, used the Bay Bridge as his canvas to put together a great show for all of us here in San Francisco last night. I was lucky to get an up close view of it, and thought to share the 3 minute video with all of you. The event brought many people to the streets of SF and cars all over the embarcadero stopped to view the light show. This is his first project in California, and most of his lights projects were done in NY.
Some say his project is maybe going to be “sparkling” SF for many years. I’m unsure, but it was great to be viewing it on the first minutes that it started.
