When you have time to kill, and an opportunity happens to be in front of your eyes, then you’re more likely to pursue it when time is not restricting your decision to go for it.  

This dog was fluffy and the owner seemed nice enough, so I walked faster so that I could get close enough to pet it on a Monday walk.  Petting animals is meant to be therapeutic. I guess Mondays are a good day to remind myself to spend a good amount of my day applying for  work, and yet it is nice to know I can take a break to go pet a random fluffy white dog.
